We have a new tank!

First built in 2001 and used around the world as a portable action aquarium, we have now acquired an enormous 22.5 thousand litre, 10 metre long tank!

Weighing in at 7 tonnes empty and a whopping 30 tonnes full this will be the largest tank in Europe and the 2nd largest in the world. It does however need some work, it was previously used for fish but the filters have long since been removed and there is no heating. We don't want our mermaids to be uncomfortable when performing so we will be having brand new swimming pool heaters and filters fitted alongside ambient special effects.

To make transporting this gargantuan tank easier we will also be welding it to a HGV flat-bed trailer, enabling us to simply attach a tractor unit and pull it away.

We aim to have this new tank up and running for festivals and events later on this year!

Be sure to keep checking back for more info and photos as we take on this exciting new project!
